NEW YORK (AP) It's five days of community serivce for the wife of Monkees vocalist Micky Dolenz after she pleaded guilty to fraud charges.

New York City authorities say Donna Quinter illegally received nearly $137,000 in government rental subsidies for an apartment on Manhattan's Upper East Side.

The subsidies were supposed to go to middle-income families who were in danger of being forced out of a rent-regulated apartment building that was being converted into luxury condominiums.

Investigators say Quinter shared the apartment with a friend who paid rent and that Quinter also lived with Dolenz in Bell Canyon, Calif., an exclusive gated community outside Los Angeles.

Quinter surrendered on Friday and almost immediately resolved the case by reimbursing the city the full amount, pleading guilty to misdemeanor larceny and being sentenced.

Dolenz isn't accused of any wrongdoing.
