Associated Press BUTTE, Mont. (AP) Former Butte High and University of Montana football standout Colt Anderson is "ready for some football." His next chance to impress Minnesota Vikings coaches will be Monday when the Vikings play the Houston Texans. Anderson hopes to see some playing time on special teams and at free safety late in the game. BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) For the first time in 16 years, a high school football game will be played in the town of Richey. Since 1994, Richey students wanting to play football traveled to Circle to practice and play for a co-op team with the Wildcats. Now Richey has a new co-op partner, Lambert, and people from both towns worked together this summer to fix up the high school football field in Richey. GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) Dan Ruettiger, a former Notre Dame football player who inspired the 1993 film "Rudy," is scheduled to speak tonight in Great Falls. Despite being only 5 feet-7 and 165 pounds, Ruettiger was put in for less than a minute in the final home game during his senior year. He recorded a quarterback sack and was carried off the field by his teammates following the game. Now he's a motivational speaker. (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)
