HAZEL, S.D. (AP) A rural Hazel area man died in a hospital Tuesday morning from burns he received at a farmhouse.

The Hamlin County sheriff said 88-year-old Lyle Singrey was burning weeds and other materials at a house that had been torn down and got gas on his clothes Monday evening.
