Associated Press AP Photo CAN202, CAN212, CAN210 CANBERRA, Australia (AP) Steve Peat of Britain has won the men's downhill and Emmeline Ragot of France the women's title at the world mountain bike championships. Ragot finished the 1.3-mile course in 2 minutes, 50.05 seconds at Stromlo Forest Park on Sunday. Tracey Moseley of Britain was second and American Kathleen Pruitt was third. Peat finished in 2:30.33. South African Greg Minnaar was second and Michael Hannah of Australia was third. The 35-year-old Peat had finished second in the downhill at the world championships four times.
