(Daniel Stratton, Farms Near Westhope) "And just had surgery on the 13th of August and got out of the Hospital on the 21st."

(Daniel Stratton, Farms Near Westhope) "We're still in the healing process. No combine, no lifting, no nothing for at least a month."


(Daniel Stratton, Farms Near Westhope) "I did contact my cousins and they said they would help, .. they said contact Farm Rescue too, our daughter in Colorado was saying them I'm on the website. "


(Daniel Stratton, Farms Near Westhope) "We applied, got approved and now................now we get to roll, the first loads in the bin, and another truck going and we're excited. It's kind of tough standing here because I want to be on the combine but I know I can't be."


(Daniel Stratton, Farms Near Westhope) "Working with the group, it's just been fantastic. The only downfall has been the weather. Doesn't want to cooperate until an hour ago."

(Voice of Farm Rescue Volunteer) "This was the very beginning of their wheat crop today. We've only been out about to or three times this year after dark. It usually get's too tough to combine after it get's dark."


(Debbie Stratton, Farms Near Westhope) "Had a lot people in the community donating things, the bank and the agency up there in Westhope have furnished the rooms for Farm Rescue people to stay and just with everybody it's been really great with the support that we've gotten."
