HELENA, Mont. (AP) Montana Western athletes have been named the Frontier Conference Football offensive and defensive players of the week.

Sophomore quarterback Micah Mamiya of Montana Western was named the offensive player of the week after completing 28 of 42 passes for 349 yards and three touchdowns in a 27-21 victory over Montana State-Northern.

Montana Western junior defensive back Andy Roberts claimed the defensive player of the week honor after recording three interceptions, three solo tackles, one assisted tackle and two pass breakups against Montana State-Northern.
