LAKEVILLE, Minn. (AP) A Lakeville elementary school reports more than a quarter of its students are out sick with flulike symptoms. Eastview Elementary wasn't planning to cancel classes but will follow guidelines issued by the Minnesota Department of Health.

The Marshall County sheriff's office says Nicholas Warne of Roseau died at a hospital after the crash in New Solum Township.

Jacob Wiskow was at a hospital in Grand Forks, N.D., but his condition yesterday wasn't released.

(AP) Wildlife researchers are trying to find out more information about a mountain lion that was hit and killed by a car near Bemidji. A Department of Natural Resources wildlife manager says the adult female cougar appears to have been a wild animal, because she didn't have a collar and hadn't been declawed.

(AP) A Minnesota native considered to be the world's oldest man attributes his long life to eating well and keeping physically and mentally active. Walter Breuning celebrated his 113th birthday yesterday in Great Falls, Mont. He was born on Sept. 21, 1896, in Melrose, and moved to Montana in 1918.
