Tens of thousands of people trek to the tiny Texas town each year to buy cases of one of the nation's most popular soft drinks from a bottling company that uses only real sugar.

No high fructose Corn syrup in sight.

It's been that way since 1891. That's when Dublin Bottling Works became the world's first soda pop bottler and the first to distribute the fruit- and berry-flavored carbonated drink.

Dublin Dr Pepper isn't the only soft drink that uses sugar. But its signature product has become a favorite of bootleggers who resell it elsewhere and folks from around the world who buy it in person or online.

That puts Dublin among the top 10 percent in per capita sales despite being one of the smallest Dr Pepper bottlers.
