For the third time in four weeks, the Community Bowl is the site of a marquee match-up for Friday Night Football, and it doesn't get much bigger than Bismarck High and Century High.



BHS is unbeaten and is ranked number one in 3A.

Like CHS, the Demons West Region Record is also spotless...

so bragging rights aren't the only thing they're after.

"(Carson Winkels:) This is a huge game and a big game for us as for things go in the conference. We've had two pretty big weeks with Minot and now Century, so it is a big game for us. Their passing game is a pretty big threat, so we have been focusing on that and working that all week and preparing to defend that.

(Mark Gibson:) The biggest concern is that they can run and throw and we usually play teams that do one or the other, but not both, so that's a tough combination and our defense is going to be in for a real challenge. "




On Century's side is experience, with a number of returners from last year.

The once beaten Patriots are rated third and oddly enough, the Pats accept the underdog role, but they're expecting to go over.

"(Zach Emil:) Y'know, it would be great to beat them and it would mean a lot and we are going to come out there and try to win it, of course, but it would be a great game to win and give us a lot of confidence heading towards the playoffs.

(Ron WingeNBAch:) I think sometimes we can probably just throw out a lot of the extras, so to speak, whether it be the ranking or whatever or individual and team records and all of that stuff. It is just a kind of a backyard brawl whenever you get to locals like that together. "
