BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) Montana State-Billings sophomore middle blocker Melissa Porter has been named Great Northwest Athletic Conference co-player of the week.

It is Porter's first weekly conference honor of the season.

The Redmond, Utah, native helped the Yellowjackets to wins over Alaska Anchorage and previously unbeaten Seattle Pacific in the past week.

In three matches during the week, she had 29 kills and a team-best 16 blocks.
