Former bookkeeper accused of embezzlement

BUTTE, Mont. (AP) A former bookkeeper for the Powell County Ambulance Service has been arrested on embezzlement charges.

County Attorney Lewis Smith says a complaint has been filed against Michelle Boese, who was arrested this week. Neither Lewis nor investigators with the sheriff's department would say how much Boese is accused of stealing.

Boese also works for Gilman Construction in Butte, but there are no formal complaints filed against her in Silver Bow County.
