The military released a report this week relaying the cause of an accident involving an overturned semitrailer earlier this summer.

The truck from base's 91st Missile Wing overturned in late August on a gravel road about 10 miles northwest of Berthold.

The semitrailer was carrying missile parts from the Minot Air Force Base and overturned after the driver lost control while trying to get rid of a large insect that landed on the driver's back.

The military's statement says the insect "flew into the driver's open window and landed on the driver's back." The military says the driver lost control of the vehicle while trying to remove the insect. watch the video | save this article / add to your favorites list
