1 adult killed, several students hurt in Idaho bus crash...Oct 11 2009 3:04AM
Associated Press INKOM, Idaho (AP) Idaho state police say it looks like a medical condition may have caused a bus driver to swerve off an interstate and crash last night. One adult was killed in the crash and a number of students injured. The bus was carrying a celebrated high school band from Utah. The band's director tells the Salt Lake Tribune that a teacher had tried to grab the steering wheel when the driver lost control. But she was thrown out a window the bus veered off the road and rolled. The band director says the students have been rushed by helicopter ambulance to a hospital in Pocatello. But he says he doesn't know how many students were hurt or how seriously. More than 200 students were on the trip, divided into four buses. % |
