Associated Press LONDON (AP) British Foreign Secretary David Miliband and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham CLinton say Pakistan's nuclear arsenal is not at risk, despite the threat of terrorism. The two met in London today. The comments follow a series of increasingly audacious attacks on military and political targets by Taliban militants. LONDON (AP) Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton says the world "will not wait indefinitely" for Iran to live up to its international obligations regarding its nuclear program. But, on a visit to London, Clinton says that a recent meeting between Iran and six world powers, including the U.S., was a "constructive beginning." INKOM, Idaho (AP) The director of a celebrated high school band says the school's woodwind instructor was trying to save the life of her students when she was killed in bus crash last night. Police say a medical condition may have caused the bus driver to lose control. The band director says the teacher tried to grab the wheel but was thrown from the bus. More than a dozen students were seriously injured. LOS ANGELES (AP) A UCLA professor says he told a university administrator months ago that he was concerned about the mental health of a student now accused of stabbing a classmate in the throat during class. Twenty-year-old Damon Thompson is in jail on $1 million bail for investigation of attempted murder. VATICAN CITY (AP) Pope Benedict XVI has recognized five new Catholic saints. Among them is a Belgian priest commonly known as Father Damien.
