Associated Press MINNEAPOLIS (AP) The National Weather Service says parts of Minnesota could see a measurable snowfall by tomorrow. The Weather Service office in the Twin Cities says the southern half of Minnesota could see an inch or two of snow by later on Columbus Day. It could be a bit heavier along the Minnesota-Iowa border. WINONA, Minn. (AP) A Winona man cited for swearing in public under an 1887 city law is instead being charged with disorderly conduct. Assistant city attorney Brian Glodosky says it's a more appropriate charge against 19-year-old Lucas Charles Wilcox, who allegedly yelled vulgarities at police officers who'd ticketed him for drinking at a party. (AP) Owners of several homes in the St. Paul suburb of Newport say their houses regularly shake and no one can figure out why. Neighbors suspected construction on the nearby Wakota Bridge, but MnDOT says it's not working during the hours homeowners reported tremors. City officials are continuing to investigate.
