Frontier players of week named

WHITEFISH, Mont. (AP) Athletes from Montana Tech, Rocky Mountain College and Eastern Oregon have been named Frontier Conference Football players of the week.

Rocky Mountain senior quarterback Kasey Peters was named offensive player of the week after passing for 502 yards and two touchdowns in a loss to Eastern Oregon.

Defensive player of the week honors went to Montana Tech junior defensive lineman Stephan Burns, who recorded seven solo tackles, two assisted tackles, two quarterback sacks and one pass deflection in a win over Montana Western.

Special Teams player of the week honors went to Hayden Plocher of Eastern Oregon.
