Wrestling Returns

From sports to sports-entertainment...

Once upon a time, professional wrestling made regular stops in spots in the Peace Garden State...

and Northern Outlaw Wrestling is trying to bring it back.

For the third time this year, they'll be back in Bismarck.

On Thursday, N-O-W will be at the AMVETS Club for some fun and fundraising, with some of the proceeds going to the North Dakota Veterans Cemetary.

Among those in action is 'The SageKing,' Mercer Sage.

The former amateur at Killdeer and current BSC student is scheduled to be apart of a six-man tag, that will also feature his rival, 'Dirty Ernie.'

"(Mercer Sage:) Its feeling great and I am glad that a lot us are getting well known and 'Dirty Ernie' was known before and he is even more known now and me, being an up-and-comer and getting well known, its a fantastic honor and is great to be walking down the street and have somebody say 'Hey, aren't you that wrestler guy?,' a person dreams of that all the time. "

A number of matches are on the card, with bell-time set for 6:00 p.m. Thursday Night.
