Eds: APNewsNow.

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) Defensive end Stylez G. White moved into Tampa Bay's starting lineup against the Carolina Panthers, replacing Gaines Adams, who was traded to Chicago two days before Sunday's game.

Adams was the fourth overall pick in the 2007 draft, but did not play up to expectations in two-plus seasons with the Bucs. The team received a 2010 second-round pick from the Bears.

Byron Leftwich was Tampa Bay's inactive third quarterback.

Fullback B.J. Askew, receiver Yamon Figurs, cornerback Derrick Roberson, center Jonathan Compas, tackle Demar Dotson and defensive linemen Dre Moore and Kyle Moore were the other inactives.

A.J. Feeley was Carolina's third quarterback. The other inactives were running backs Tyrell Sutton and Mike Goodson, cornerback C.J. Wilson, tackle Garry Williams, guard Duke Robinson, defensive end Hilee Taylor and defensive tackle Nick Hayden.
