Clancy, Dinkins remain out for SaintsOct 18 2009 11:40AM
Associated Press NEW ORLEANS (AP) Saints tight end Darnell Dinkins and defensive tackle Kendrick Clancy were inactive once again Sunday for New Orleans' home game against the New York Giants. Dinkins has yet to play in the regular season because of a fracture in his left foot. Clancy has not played since his right knee flared up during the season opener. Both returned to practice this week. Also inactive for New Orleans was kicker Garrett Hartley, who returned this week from a four-game suspension for use of a banned stimulant during the offseason. The Giants remained without cornerback Aaron Ross, who hasn't played all season because of a left hamstring injury, and linebacker Michael Boley, who missed his second straight game with a right knee injury.
