Associated Press AP Photo LAS113, LAS111, LAS106, LAS110 LOS ANGELES (AP) Andrew Bynum overcame a cold-shooting start, scoring 20 points and grabbing 13 rebounds to help the Los Angeles Lakers overcome a 15-point deficit and beat the Clippers 114-108 on Sunday night. Shannon Brown made five of his first six shots off the bench and scored 19 points, seven of them in the final 3:43, after missing all six shots in a start against the Charlotte Bobcats on Saturday night. Bynum started out 0 for 5 from the field, but converted a three-point play with 0.4 seconds left in the half to cut the Clippers' lead to 60-57 after the Lakers trailed by as many as 15 points in the second quarter. Reserve Craig Smith had 26 points and seven rebounds for the Clippers. (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) APNP 10-19-09 0018CDT |
