CO poisoning ruled in Minn. couple's deathOct 20 2009 7:15PM
Associated Press LONGVILLE, Minn. (AP) The Cass County sheriff says a husband and wife found dead in their cabin near Longville over the weekend died from carbon monoxide poisoning. Relatives found the bodies of 58-year-old Lee Schwarze and his 55-year-old wife, Nancy, on Saturday afternoon. The couple was from Hutchinson. Their son, 22-year-old Michael Schwarze, also of Hutchinson, was found in the cabin unconscious and was flown to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. Schwarze was in critical condition Tuesday. Authorities suspect a poorly ventilated gas heater may be to blame.
