Associated Press ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) Minnesota lawmakers are getting a feel for the way federal stimulus dollars are being deployed for energy projects. Legislative committees with oversight over energy policy are gathering today for an update. They will hear from the state Office of Energy Security. ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) Gov. Tim Pawlenty and representatives of pork, Soybean and milk groups will announce a donation to Minnesota food shelves today. Minnesota Farmers Helping Families will make the donation to Hunger Solutions Minnesota. St. Paul-based Hunger Solutions represents food banks, food shelves and commodity programs. ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) Gov. Tim Pawlenty has ordered that flags at the State Capitol complex be flown at half staff today in honor of Ramsey County Reserve Deputy Michael Wilken. Wilken was struck by a car last weekend in Maplewood. He died the next morning. His funeral is this morning at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Mahtomedi. Bismarck, N.D. (AP) A federal agency that markets electricity is increasing its partnerships with wind farms in the Dakotas. The Western Area Power Administration is close to signing a deal with North Dakota-based Basin Electric Power Cooperative.
