Ballet Dancers Share Talent With KidsNov 3 2009 7:30PM
KXMCTV Minot Ballet Magnificat MAG-NIFFICOT is a professional Christian-based dance company from Jackson, Mississippi. Throughout the year, the group travels the U.S., as well as internationally, holding performances and workshops for youth and adults. Over the next few days, members are hosting several dance clinics in Minot, including a special performance at Minot State. Ashley Egerton is a first-year member of the group, and says although touring can be tiring, being able to share their message makes it all worthwhile. (Ashley Egerton, Ballet Magnificat) "I love teaching, it's what I did before I really started dancing myself, so it is something that is so rewarding just to be able to see the fruit of your labor, you know, to teach kids and to see them do something." Ballet Magnificat will be performing "The Scarlet Cord" tomorrow evening at 7pm in MSU's Ann Nicole Nelson Hall. Admission is ten dollars.
