BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) A 62-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a stabbing in Powder River County.

Sheriff's deputies were called to a report of a disturbance at a home in the county's southwestern corner about 70 miles from Broadus shortly after 6 p.m. Thursday. Stanley Morgan was arrested, and the alleged victim was hospitalized.

Details about his condition were not available Friday night, but a sheriff's office spokesman says the injuries do not appear to be life-threatening. The alleged victim's name has not been released.

Morgan is being held at the county jail and has not yet appeared in court.
