Associated Press Belcourt, N.D. (AP) A Belcourt man says his son is still "pretty scared" after being wounded in last week's shooting spree at a Texas Army base. Patrick Blue III is a sergeant with the 101st Airborne Division. The 23-year-old was hit in his side by bullet fragments. He was released from the hospital but still has stitches. Bismarck, N.D. (AP) State officials say North Dakota's oil production could jump another 50 percent next year. They say it will get a boost from transportation projects that will help get the oil to market. The state's mineral resources director says the state could be producing 400,000 barrels of oil daily within five years. BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) A group wants to set up a health care cooperative that would include most of North Dakota's oil-producing counties. The planning cooperative's chairman says the group is seeking money to keep health care providers, consumers, insurers, state and tribal leaders and others talking about the possibilities of an integrated system in the 11-county region. He says the natural life of a lake and runoff from the terrain are other factors contributing to water quality.
