Man denies role in Billings cocaine conspiracyNov 10 2009 12:07AM
Associated Press BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) A 33-year-old man has denied federal cocaine charges that prosecutors say are related to the case of a former player for the Billings Outlaws indoor Football team. Torrence Kyere McGee of Billings pleaded not guilty Monday to a federal indictment charging him with selling a total of a quarter-ounce of cocaine on two occasions in 2008. Three people pleaded guilty last week in federal court in Billings to cocaine charges and five others pleaded not guilty. Shon Flores, a Billings resident and former Outlaws player, pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute almost 20 pounds of the drug. U.S. Magistrate Judge Carolyn Ostby continued McGee's detention, and the case will be heard by U.S. District Judge Richard Cebull.
