Associated Press As a result, area farmers say they haven't harvested much of their soybean stands yet and the Corn harvest has barely gotten started. Mark Rosenberg, the Extension educator for Spink, Hand and Beadle counties, says the last few days of sunshine have helped a lot. He says higher temperatures have helped cut the moisture content in Soybeans. The National Weather Service says October was one of the wettest and coldest in history.
