Bismarck, N.D. (AP) The Forest Service is waiving camping and day use fees on Dakota Prairie Grasslands campgrounds in honor of Veterans Day.

Fees also will not be charged Wednesday at campgrounds where the water has been shut off for the season. Those areas include Hankinson Hills Campground in the Sheyenne National Grassland and the Burning coal Vein and Buffalo Gap campgrounds in the Little Missouri National Grassland.

After Wednesday, fee collections will resume at sites where water is available, until the end of the month. Those campgrounds include Sather Lake, CCC, Bennett, Elkhorn, Wannagan, and Magpie in the Little Missouri National Grassland.
