Associated Press HELENA, Mont. (AP) Montana guard Anthony Johnson has been named the first Big Sky Conference men's Basketball player of the week for the 2009-10 season after leading the Grizzlies to a 3-0 record in the Karl Tyler Chevrolet Grizzly Basketball Tournament. Johnson, a senior from Tacoma, Wash., averaged 22.3 points, 4.7 assists and 3.7 rebounds per game to earn tournament MVP honors. He led the Griz to a 61-37 win over North Dakota, a 95-82 win over Boise State and a 64-63 win over Loyola-Marymount. For the week, Johnson shot 52.8 percent from the field, made 4-of-5 from 3-point range and made 91.7 percent of his free throws. He has made 20 consecutive free throws.
