Man eyed in prostitute deaths still feels targetedNov 18 2009 1:53PM
Associated Press By WAYNE PARRY Associated Press Writer EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) Three years after the discovery of the bodies of four prostitutes in a drainage ditch just outside Atlantic City, N.J., the man once viewed as a suspect still feels the taint of suspicion. Terry Oleson was questioned but never charged in the case. Lingering publicity including documentaries that air constantly on cable TV keep his name linked to the case, and make it hard to get on with his life. The former handyman denies having anything to do with the killings, but despairs that authorities won't issue a statement clearing his name. He says it has ruined his life. Atlantic County Prosecutor Ted Housel (HOW'-sull) says his office is still diligently working the case. (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) APNP 11-18-09 1349CST |
