Public wildlife meetings beginNov 23 2009 5:43AM
Associated Press Bismarck, N.D. (AP) The North Dakota Game and Fish Department this week is starting its annual fall advisory board meetings. The public meetings held in the spring and fall give state residents an opportunity to discuss fish and wildlife issues and ask questions of their district advisers and agency personnel. The governor appoints eight Game and Fish advisers to serve as liaisons between the department and the public. The fall meetings begin Monday night in Watford City and conclude Dec. 7 in Kindred. In between, meetings will be held in Rugby, Rhame, Grand Forks, Langdon, Bismarck and Oakes. (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) APNP 11-23-09 0530CST |
