ST. THOMAS, Virgin Islands (AP) Amanda Thompson scored 18 points as No. 20 Oklahoma defeated No. 23 San Diego State 87-48 on Friday in the Paradise Jam.

Thompson was one of five Sooners to score in double figures.

Nyeshia Stevenson and Abi Olajuwon scored 14 points each for Oklahoma (4-1). Danielle Robinson scored 13 points, and Whitney Hand had 10.

Hand injured her right knee in the final two minutes of the first half and did not return.

Paris Johnson led San Diego State (3-2) with 10 points.

Oklahoma plays No. 5 Notre Dame on Saturday for the Island Division title of the Paradise Jam. San Diego State will play South Carolina.
