Shaking hands...Train derailment...Ferry sinks

WASHINGTON (AP) A White House photo shows a "The Real Housewives of D.C." candidate who crashed a presidential dinner shaking hands with President Barack Obama at the Tuesday night state dinner. The Secret Service says it's "deeply concerned and embarrassed" by the incident. A lawyer for Michaele Salahi and her husband Tareq says his clients were "cleared by the White House."


MOSCOW (AP) Russia's health minister says people are still missing after a train carrying hundreds of passengers from Moscow to St. Petersburg derailed. Emergency officials say at least 25 people were killed and scores more injured. State-run Russian Railways says the derailment could have been the result of sabotage.

DHAKA, Bangladesh (AP) Authorities say at least 15 people died and scores are missing after a ferry sank in southern Bangladesh.

Police say the death toll could rise as people are feared trapped inside the sunken ferry. The ferry was carrying several hundred people heading home for an Islamic festival.

UNDATED (AP) Police say Tiger Woods' wife was "frantic" and "upset" after her husband was injured in a vehicle crash early Friday. The Golfer was hospitalized after he lost control of his SUV outside his Florida mansion. He was released and his spokesman says he's in good condition.

NEW YORK (AP) Members of one of America's oldest Protestant churches have officially apologized for massacring and displacing Native Americans 400 years ago. On Friday, a reconciliation ceremony of the Lenape tribe with the Collegiate Church was held at Manhattan's Museum of the American Indian.
