PHILADELPHIA (AP) A person with knowledge of the situation says Toronto pitcher Roy Halladay is in Philadelphia to take a physical for the Phillies, a necessary step before the teams finalize a trade. The person says the Phillies could give up pitchers J.A. Happ, Joe Blanton and outfielder Dominic Brown as part of a deal.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) San Francisco plays host to Arizona in tonight's NFL game. The Cardinals enter with a record of 8-4 in the NFC West while the 49ers are three games back at 5-and-7.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) Green Bay has come to terms on a four-year, $21 million deal with linebacker Brandon Chillar. He's been a key role player for the Packers and has occasionally played a hybrid linebacker-safety position.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) The Denver Broncos have lost rookie Darcel McBath for the rest of the season with a broken arm. A second-round pick out of Texas Tech, McBath broke his right forearm in the Broncos' 28-16 loss at Indianapolis on Sunday.

FRESNO, Calif. (AP) Pat Hill has a new contract to coach Football at Fresno State. His current pact expires at the end of next season and the new one extends his relationship with the school past that time. In 11 years at Fresno State, Hill has a record of 100-and-65.
