11monthold ND girl dies from crash injuriesDec 25 2009 12:57PM
Associated Press Fargo, N.D. (AP) An 11-month-old girl has died of injuries she sustained in a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 29 in southeast North Dakota. Kirsten Booke of Fairmount died at a hospital Thursday. She was taken there Wednesday evening after the crash in Fargo. The Highway Patrol says she was in child seat in the back seat of a northbound 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier that slid out of control on the icy road. The vehicle entered the median, spun 180 degrees and struck the concrete supports of an overpass. The driver, Andrew Booke, and another front-seat passenger, Sydney Cantler, were not injured. Kirsten Booke's relationship to the driver and passenger are unclear. The Highway Patrol and Cass County Sheriff's office did not return phone messages left Friday.
