A large grassfire still burns west of the University of Mary.

Fire officials say it is under control, and they will continue monitoring it overnight.

It's on Game and Fish land, no structures are in danger.

Over one thousand acres have burned so far.

Fire crews battled winds today of around 20 miles per hour.
