A Bismarck man is arrested for assaulting his pregnant girlfriend.

Police arrested Thirty year old Joel Byzewski shortly after four Saturday morning..

Police found his girlfriend hiding a convenience store's bathroom.

According to a police report, Byzewski told his girlfriend he was going to beat her until she was unconscious and leave her to die.

The twenty three year old woman taken to a local hospital.

Authorities say she has bruising on her privates, a cut on her head and bite marks on her back and leg.

Byzewski has been charged with domestic assault, a Class B misdemeanor and terrorizing, a class C felony.
