Inspection set for Minot Air Force Base bomb wingFeb 26 2008 2:08PM
Associated Press In just under 80 days, the base will host an Air Combat Command inspection team as the 5th Bomb Wing attempts to be re-certified to handle nuclear weapons. A spokesman says the inspection team will be at the base in mid-May. The inspection is expected to last about one week. The base's 5th Bomb Wing was decertified by the Air Force after the accidental transport of nuclear missiles from Minot to Barksdale Air Force Base in August. After the incident, the wing commander was reassigned and dozens of airmen were disciplined. (Copyright 2008 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) APNP 02-26-08 1350CST |

You're telling me that if nukes where needed Minot would be able to use thiers. pfft, this is just a dog and pony show to make everyone feel better. They'll get the nukes back on board. If they don't whats left for Minot Airforce base. Its about as useless as you can get then.
