The Smithgate Foundation is doing it again...

Thanks to it and Doctors at Medcenter One, a little boy from Iraq is going to get the medical help he needs. His surgery is scheduled for tomorrow.

And his family couldn't be more grateful...

We need an interpreter to help us tell this story..

(Interpreter) "He said its beautiful here." You remember weeks ago when Mohammed arrived at the Bismarck Airport..

He's here today, because of the Smithgate foundation and a desperate mother who couldn't find help or treatment in Iraq but found u-s soldiers..

(Craig Lambrecht, M.D./ MedCenter One) "The soldiers and medical staff realized this was something so complex that this was something they couldn't take care of, contacted us, is there anyway you could help no capabilities in the Mideast." Mohammed was born with his bladder on the outside of his pelvis... He has little bladder control, and left where it is he could face terrible infection and kidney problems... (Interpreter) very difficult..

For his mother Iman, being in Bismarck is the gift she's been waiting 10-years-for..

(Interpreter) She said, I have alot of hope from God that one day they're gonna do surgery and she's happy because she's here..

It's a complicated surgery. The whole surgical team needs to reconfigure the whole anatomy to make sure everything will work inside of Mohammed

(Craig Lambrecht, M.D./ MedCenter One) "The team is pretty confident and optimistic that this is something that will go well and they're gonna give it their best shot We're feeling good about it."

He and his mother are living at the Ronald McDonald house and will be there until it's time to go home.

All the expenses are being paid for by the Smithgate foundation.
