Book on Divorce

As we all know, growing up can be hard.

Growing up as a child whose parents are divorced can be even harder.

That's why a few local women are trying to make things a bit easier on children in that situation.

Three moms have gotten together to write a childrens book which helps cope with divorce and separation.

"You and Me Make three" is an award winning childrens book that answer questions children might have as to what is going on in their family during a divorce.

"It's hard on them you know because they didn't choose to be in this position at all. All of a sudden their lives are in this upheaval and it can be scary for them and sad and worrisome and all of those kinds of things so that is why we put the book and bear together." says Gwendy Mangiamele/Co-Author.

The book also comes with BB the bear.

The bear comes along with the book so that children have something familier at both homes.

"If the parents are hopefully getting along or at least putting the kids needs first they can give this to their kids together and so then again it will provide that consistancy that it came from both mom and dad." she says.

For more on the book or the "build a bear" series you can check out the website www.bbseries.com.

The authors are working on placing a BB book and bear in every school in America and have already reached 26 states. watch the video | save this article / add to your favorites list
