Today is Reachelle Smith's fourth birthday.

Reachelle is the Minot girl who was last seen in Mid-May and has since been the subject of weeks of searching.

And that searching will resume in the next couple weeks.

Reachelle's mother Samantha Smith says a search dog owner from South Dakota will be making another trip to the Minot area soon to comb more areas in search of clues.

It'll be the third trip to the region for the dog-handler.

And his lack of success in finding anything related to Reachelle has her mother encouraged.

(Samantha Smith, Reachelle's Mother) "Him not finding anything has been...has been a joy. But it's been hard. It's a joy because it doesn't point to she's dead, but it's hard because she's still not home."

Samantha says she hopes Reachelle will be found soon and hopes especially that her daughter's birthday is being remembered by whomever has her.

"We don't know if they're giving her a good birthday party. We don't know if she'll get any presents, or a hug, or anything. And that's the hardest part for us is just not knowing."

Minot Police and Ward County deputies say previous searches for Reachelle have turned up nothing.

They also say there are no new leads in the case.

She is just a baby and we as her family need her. Please don't give up on us. Please help us bring our little girl home. Don't forget these little children who have come up missing, because that is a parent's worse nightmare. Just imagine if it were your child, and wouldn't you want as much help finding them as you could possibly get??? Just imagine. I would never wish this apon anybody. So please help us bring her home!!!!

The Internet as of like Myspace is so widely use as a form of communication and connection to friends. People all over the world will see these pictures. All it takes is one look at a picture for one to recognize.

I have read through many of the postings on this site about my daughter and the worst part is, people are wondering if this is a scam. LOOK AT THE AMBER ALERT WEBSITE!!!!!!! Our daughter's Amber Alert is still active and we would like our baby brought home safe. If there is any parent out there reading this, picture your worst nightmare. Your own flesh and blood being taken from your home. The place where you feel secure and safe, and having your child taken from your home by a person you feel is like family. One thing everyone needs to know is that Leigh Cowen knew when we all first met him, that Reachelle was not his daughter. We didn't even first meet him until at least six months after she was born. It bothers me that most people are criticizing my family. On May 16th, it will be the one year mark of our Peanut missing. It would be greatly appreciated if people would stop kicking us farther down then we already are. We are begging for anybody with information regarding our baby's whereabouts to come foreward and please, let us bring her home. She is sorely missed and it breaks our hearts to not know if whoever has her is taking care of her.
