We now have the identity of a Bismarck man who died in a head on collision yesterday...

The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified 56-year-old Jeffrey Burgess as the man who died at the scene of a crash around four miles north of Bismarck on highway 83.

Burgess was driving from Bismarck to the Coleharbor area when a cement truck crossed through the median and into the northbound lane... colliding head on with his pickup.

Jeffrey Burgess was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene... His two passengers were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the cement truck, 43-year-old Mary Greff was treated for injuries and released.
