BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) The state Commission on education Improvement is meeting today in Bismarck. Lt. Gov. Jack Dalrymple says the 16-member group will keep track of school reform measures approved by the Legislature earlier this year. Grand Forks, N.D. (AP) The Grand Forks Air Force Base has a new project. It will help provide backup communications for U.S. military and government operations around the world. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is set for later today for new computer systems and high speed circuits. Washington (AP) The U.S. Senate has approved a resolution apologizing to American Indians for years of "ill-conceived policies" and acts of violence by U.S. citizens.
