Bowman native Ashley Andrews says the last few days have been some of the most exciting in her life.

The 21 year old Andrews was crowned Miss Rodeo America this weekend at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.

She says her phone has been ringing off the hook ever since.

Andrews is getting a glimpse of what the next year as Miss Rodeo America will be like.

(Ashley Andrews / Miss Rodeo America) "Immediately after I was crowned on stage they wisked me away and took pictures and had a press conference. Since then it's been doing photo shoots, signing autographs, meeting with sponsors. Oh the most exciting part was riding in the Thomas and Mack being introduced on the floor of the Wrangler Nationals Rodeo on Sunday night. That was one of the coolest experiences of my life."


There will be a welcome home celebration for Ashley on Monday but keep it a secret...
