It's the final hours before one of the biggest holidays of the year.

At Cashwise Foods shoppers are lining the aisles searching for many of the traditional holiday favorites.

Store Manager Jim Polk says the day before Thanksgiving is the busiest day of the year, but Christmas Eve is a close 2nd.

Polk says they make sure to stock-up on extra hams, prime ribs, seafood and baking items. But he says the weather is making this year's holiday rush even busier.

(Jim Polk / Cashwise Manager) "The typical snow storm stock-up is also happening. It's the chips and the pop and everything else to make it through that snow storm if it lasts for a few days like it is calling for."


The store closed today at 5.
