Easy Recipes

Tired of relying on restuarant dinners and take out for a good meal? It's time to bring easy gourmet cooking to your kitchen.

The NDSU Extension Service is kicking off National Nutritional Month with "Cooking 101." The healthy cooking publications are designed for singles, couples or anyone who isn't very familiar with cooking.

"Cooking 101" includes a list of the cooking equipment you will need, a week's worth of menus, grocery lists and of course the step-by-step recipes necessary to help you put a healthy meal on the table.

(June Kraft / Burleigh Co. Extension Agent) "Alot of times you don't have the time to prepare menus or meals, so they are quick, easy. They involve ingredients that you have at home so you don't have to go shopping. People are looking for cooking ideas that can save them money, so if you are on a limited budget I find that these are very good ideas to use."
