A father and son watch as a Tornado touches down on their farm....

In seconds a twister took out more buildings than are left at a ranch south of Belfield.

It went through the area yesterday afternoon.

As Donnell Preskey reports... what was destroyed is replaceable but what is left is what's important...

Frank Emch got as close as you would want to one of mother nature's most powerful beasts..

(Frank) He was on his way to safety just feet from the door but the twister beat him..

(Frank) The tornado picked up the truck, slammed it down and broke 3 windows... (Frank) "If I knew a prayer, I would've said it." (Perry) "Amazing" A simple word... Perry Emch repeats again... and again... and again...

His ranch is filled with evidence of how the tornado tore through here..

(Perry) Car.

This corral was empty all this junk is from three barns blown apart..

(Perry) Chicks now make their nest in the mess... just imagine the ride they've been on..

(nat dog) Even Ike.. made it out okay..

(Perry) The destruction is confusing... fierce enough to wrap tin around a pole - but then look at this a lightbulb unshattered..

Once again..

(Perry) "Amazing" (Donnell) "Seven buildings were demolished the one that survived is the oldest... the inside of this barn is over 100 years old the original... The tornado sucked up the roof but bridles and saddles are still in place." (Perry) Yes, the twister got it's hands on a majority of this ranch but there's one thing it didn't touch...

The family is waiting for their insurance adjuster before they can touch anything...

Perry says numerous friends have volunteered to help pick up the damage.
