YP Networking Young Professionals

Many people around the country are watching as the job market and the economy around them is faltering but that is not the case in North Dakota and especially not in Minot.

The local economy is continuing to expand and one group is pushing to further develop the infrastructure of young local professionals.

The Young Professionals of Minot continues to coordinate and plan events to help people ages 21 to 39 make connections in the community and play a bigger role in the development of the Magic City.

The Y-P group has brought in the Governor and motivational speaker Dale Brown to meet with members at past event and now is planning an end of the year gala.

The New Years Eve Gala is a formal event but is still in keeping with the coming together of young professionals in the community.

(Mistie Berg, YP New Years Gala Organizer) "So this is giving that opportunity of people to actually feel like they're going out of the evening, celebrating something fun and dressing up to do it. It is going to be a great event we have a lot of extras that we're not releasing the information on yet but we plan on setting the example so it is going to be great a lot of unique things to do and people to meet and it is going to be beautiful."

The YP Gala at the Holiday Inn Riverside is open to the community.

You can contact the Minot Chamber of Commerce for tickets or more information at 852-6000. watch the video | save this article / add to your favorites list
