Associated Press STOCKHOLM (AP) Saab has filed for bankruptcy protection and intends to split from its troubled parent company, General Motors. GM had asked Sweden for government help for Saab but had to take 'no' for an answer. JERUSALEM (AP) Hard-line Likud party leader Benjamin Netanyahu has six weeks to form Israel's next government. Israeli President Shimon Peres made the choice today. If Netanyahu sticks to a hard-line coalition, it could run up against the U.S. and other nations interested in a Mideast peace deal. SEOUL, South Korea (AP) Secretary of State Hillary Rodham CLinton has arrived in China, the last stop on her first overseas trip for the new administration. Earlier, in South Korea, she warned North Korea that belligerent rhetoric wont improve U.S. ties. BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan (AP) Kyrgyzstan has served an eviction notice on U.S. military forces. They'll have to leave an airbase there within six months. The base has been a key to military operations in Afghanistan. It complicates plans to send more troops to battle.
