Associated Press BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) Montana wildlife officials are considering changes to the state's inaugural wolf hunt because most of the kills have been in an area just outside Yellowstone National Park. Seven of nine wolves killed in Montana came from a small portion of the Absaroka (ab-SOHR'-ka)-Beartooth Wilderness, along Yellowstone's northern border. KALISPELL, Mont. (AP) Planned Parenthood of Montana is closing its Kalispell clinic next month due to a decline in patients. President Stacy James says the organization has set up a travel fund for patients who need to travel to the Missoula clinic for reproductive health services. Planned Parenthood also has clinics in Helena, Great Falls and Billings. GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) State Sen. Don Ryan has announced his candidacy for a seat on the Montana Public Service Commission. The Democrat from Great Falls says he will run in 2010 for the seat held by PSC Chairman Greg Jergeson, a former Chinook legislator. Montana's term limits law prevent both from seeking re-election to their current posts. MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) A stone memorial has been placed in front of a Missoula church in honor of John Norman Maclean, the pastor who was the inspiration for the book and movie "A River Runs Through It." Maclean's grandson was among the hundreds of people attending the ceremony yesterday at First Presbyterian Church in Missoula. (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)
